Old friends and new surrounded our stage and thanks to all of you who submitted pictures to our Fan Page. They are always appreciated.
September 23rd we will be making our first appearance at The Egyptian Theatre in Dekalb,Il. with Johnny Cash tribute artist Keith Furry. For tickets and more information read more here…
September 24th we are performing at the Nordlof Center in Rockford, Illinois, billed “Four Icons”, featuring the music of not only Neil Diamond, but Patsy Cline, John Denver & Roy Orbinson. The afternoon show is a SELL OUT, so we’ve added an evening show. Please visit the events section on our website for additional information. Hope to see you there!
This is a super year for a bumper crop of corn. The harvest has produced lots of the sweet, Butter & Cream type, and sure you will like this quick and easy recipe.
Fresh Corn Pudding
Boil about 8 fresh cobs of corn
Slice corn off cob after tender
2 tsp. Salt
Pepper to taste
2 cups Milk
3/4 cup Flour
2 Tbls. Sugar, then stir in
2 cups Fresh Corn
Preheat oven to 350°, place butter in 9 x 13 baking dish, and melt in oven
Pour mixture into baking dish and bake for approximately 1 hour, or until top is set & browned.
Enjoy! Can top with Conija Cheese for a little more flavor burst.
This pairs quite well with a nice hearty Sangria. We tried a Blackberry blend which was perfect.
Hope to see you soon.
