July ‘2017’

Hope you had a fantastic 4th of July!

Another month has flown by and summer is in full swing.  The Nashville reunion was so much fun, but crazy with all the Predator fans partying in the streets.

We returned home only to have two super sold out shows at White Pines Inn dinner theatre in Mt. Morris. It’s always fun to see familiar faces, who turn up in the audience, time and time again. The buffet is so special, and the wait staff incredible, and the accommodations friendly & homey.

July 7th we’re heading back to Goshen, Indiana to headline “First Friday” for a second time.  

We hope to see everyone at Fergedaboudit Winery on July 15th. A new venue for us, with great wines, beautiful scenery, and a wonderful welcoming feeling.  

July 19th Spenser and I will be performing as Denny Diamond and “A” Jewel in Lodi, Wi.

Happy to be at Rockford City Market on Friday July 21st.  Hope you can stop by and say, “hi”.

Denny Diamond and “A” Jewel will be at it again on July 27th at GPS Church Farmer’s Market.

For a nice summertime dessert:


2 doughnuts piled high with a scoop of vanilla ice cream between the two, or a great creamy whipped cream, and surrounded by fresh strawberries.

Pair this with: Summer Celebration Sangria (courtesy of Staller Winery, Delavan, Wi)

1 bottle Maiden Blush

1 bottle Estate Blanc

12 oz. Cranberry Juice

4 oz. Pineapple Juice

12 oz. Ginger Ale or Seltzer Water (less sweet)

Sugar to taste

Frozen Fruits

Chill wine, juices.  Blend together after chilling.  Add sugar if desired.  Gently stir.   Add the soda just before serving.  Use frozen fruit instead of ice so you don’t dilute the wine.  Make the recipe your own by adding more or less sugar to fit your taste.  Use seltzer for a less sweet taste.
